Take on a motivated Mas Apprentice to help build your business

Equip your business with the skills it needs to be future-ready

We facilitate workplace development through apprenticeships.

An Apprentice can help set up your business with the specialised skills and knowledge it needs for today and the future. It is a unique opportunity to bring in fresh, new talent and create a workplace culture of personal development and loyalty.

We provide a comprehensive support service to guide business owners and job seekers with information, guidance and mentoring. Our unique level of care and guidance throughout the journey makes us the go-to option for businesses and individuals around Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Queensland.

With Mas Experience you get:

  • Personalised support from start to finish
  • Free advice and guidance
  • Recruitment and administrative support
  • Connection to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
  • Management for incentives and other claims
  • Matching with the best candidates for your business’ needs
  • Mentoring for future business growth
  • Why would my business need an apprentice?

Apprentices are eager to learn, can be trained specifically for your business needs, and are working towards a nationally-recognised qualification — making them the perfect addition to your business.  You can also upskill existing staff through an apprenticeship or traineeship as part of your staff retention strategy.

  • Why should I choose Mas Experience?

Mas Experience takes the stress out of hiring, training and developing your workforce.  We provide tailored support to help you transform the way you do business and be your trusted partner for today and into the future.

  • How much does it cost, and what do I have to pay the trainee or apprentice?

As an employer, Mas’ support services are at no cost to you. You will, however, need to pay your apprentice or trainee a fair wage that reflects their experience and knowledge. The Fair Work Ombudsman site has a Pay Calculator to help you determine the correct rate of pay for apprentices and trainees.

Through the Australian Apprenticeships incentives programme, a range of funding is also available to eligible employers. Payments typically range from $750 to $4,000, dependent on a variety of factors, which Mas will help determine what you’re eligible for.
