Mental Health is an important part of an individual’s overall wellbeing, contributing significantly to our quality of life.

Mental Health plays a leading role in how we think, relate to others and our ability to earn an income so it’s important to understand what mental health is and who we can turn to if we start to feel unwell.

Below is a list of resources that you or someone you care about can access ranging from how to maintain a healthy status quo, to who you can contact if in crisis.

 Lifeline 24hr suicide prevention and crisis support hotline (13 11 14). Their service also includes an online chat platform and a sms support line.
Beyond Blue Provides education and information nationwide on mental health services and supports for adults.
Headspace Created specifically for youth aged 12-25, their services include a comprehensive website, phone support service and face to face locations.
MensLine Australia A service dedicated to men and the elements that contribute to and impact their mental health. The service includes a hotline, online support and lots of online resources.
Heads Up Information and advice for creating and maintaining healthy workplaces. This site is aimed at both employers and employees and includes real life stories along with statistics and webinars.
Head to Health Created as a directory to digital mental health services, Head to Health contains over 500 different online programs and resources for visitors to access.
MindSpot Online assessment and treatment for anxiety and depression.
Mental Health Online Comprehensive online services and programs that can take users through self-assessment, self-help and professional support.
Services Australia Provides information on financial support available through Medicare when receiving treatment/seeing a specialist for a mental health issue
