Career and education pathways

Completing an apprenticeship or traineeship unlocks unlimited opportunities for your child in both their career and further education.

At the completion of their apprenticeship or traineeship they will have:

  • Completed a nationally-recognised qualification which can then be put towards further education.  For example, a business traineeship provides a pathway to an undergraduate degree in business at university or a mechanical apprenticeship that can then be used as the basis for a degree in engineering.
  • Several years work experience in their chosen field, as well as a qualification, making them stand-out as a high calibre candidate for jobs.
